Buy an Italian virtual number: the essentials
An Italy virtual number is the way into a market where WhatsApp is the everyday channel and services from marketplaces to classifieds verify by SMS to a +39 mobile. A virtual Italian phone number is issued to your dashboard, the code lands there, and the account is registered from any country. Buyers take it for an Italian audience, for EU accounts and for services that check the phone region.
The formats follow the usual rule. A one-time +39 code covers a single sign-up; a permanent Italian number is a mobile line on a physical SIM for PayPal, Google and marketplace accounts opened for Italy, and for a shop profile Italian customers will message. Stock and prices for both formats are live in the passport above.
Italian numbers in practice
Italian buyers reply to a +39 number as to a neighbour, so a permanent line on a business profile is the common purchase for sellers aimed at Italy. Marketplace and classifieds accounts that re-check the phone belong on the same permanent format.
Travellers and remote workers keep an Italian number for services that expect a local phone, and use one-time codes for platform tests. Nearby in the catalog: Filipino numbers.

Questions about Italian numbers
Can I run a second account on an Italian number?
Yes. Register the second account on the +39 line, apart from your personal SIM; each account gets its own number from the dashboard.
Will a business profile accept a +39 number?
Yes. A business profile verifies the same way as a personal one; take the permanent format so re-verifications keep passing for years.
Can I move an existing account to an Italian number?
Yes. Change the phone in the account settings of the service to the new +39 number, confirm the code from the dashboard, and the account keeps working.
Can contacts tell that my Italian number is virtual?
No. It looks like any other +39 mobile number in their contact list, and apps do not label numbers by origin.
Does the +39 dial code matter for the services I use?
For messengers and social apps, no. For payment services and exchanges, yes: they expect the phone of the account region. The service pages say which case is which.
Does a +39 number receive codes from any service?
Yes. The line receives SMS from any sender: messengers, marketplaces, payment services. Keep one line per account; the code lands in your dashboard within minutes.
Where do I see the code sent to my Italian number?
In your dashboard, from any browser. Codes do not go to a phone; they land next to the number they belong to.
How much does an Italian virtual number cost?
The live answer is in the passport above: right now it is from $30/mo. Prices follow the catalog, so the page never shows a stale figure.
Why is WhatsApp the reason people take an Italian number?
Because in Italy WhatsApp is the everyday channel for shops, services and friends; a +39 number on a profile reads as local.
Will PayPal accept an Italian virtual number?
The permanent +39 lines are mobile numbers on physical SIMs, which PayPal accepts. Open the account as an Italian account and put this phone on file.
Is an Italian number in stock right now?
The passport at the top is the live status; when a format shows in stock, issue is automatic after payment.
Can I use a +39 number from outside Italy?
