Buy an Israeli virtual number: the essentials
An Israel virtual number is a +972 mobile for a market where WhatsApp is the default channel for clients and for business alike. Deals are discussed there, and a local number reads as one of their own. Yad2 classifieds, PayPal and Google verify by SMS. A virtual Israeli phone number is issued to your dashboard and used from any country. Buyers are freelancers with Israeli clients, companies with a team in Tel Aviv and Israelis who live abroad.
Israel is available in both formats. A one-time code is a temporary Israeli number for a single registration. A permanent Israeli line is a mobile number on a physical SIM, renewed monthly. It is the format for a WhatsApp business profile, a Yad2 account or a PayPal account opened for Israel. Look at the passport above for live stock and the price.
Israeli numbers in practice
Freelancers and agencies that work with Israeli clients buy an Israeli number online and keep the permanent +972 line on WhatsApp, because that is where briefs, files and approvals travel. The number stays the same for the whole relationship.
Israelis abroad and people preparing a move use an Israeli phone number for verification on Yad2 and in local apps. One registration takes one code, read in the dashboard. Nearby in the catalog: Cypriot numbers.

Receive SMS online with a +972 number: codes from WhatsApp, Yad2, PayPal and Google are shown in your dashboard, and no handset in Israel is needed. BasolinoVoIP shows stock before payment, not after it. An Israeli SMS number gives a business abroad the local mobile its Israeli accounts are registered on, and the permanent line receives new messages for as long as it is renewed. Questions about Israeli numbers
What if the code to my Israeli number does not arrive?
Write to support from the dashboard within 24 hours with the number and order; failed deliveries are handled under the refund policy with a replacement or a refund.
Do calls and groups work on a +972 number?
Yes. Once the account is verified, everything in the app works as usual; the number only defines the +972 code contacts see.
Can I buy several Israeli numbers at once?
Yes. Each +972 number is a separate line in your dashboard with its own codes and renewal, so several accounts can run side by side.
What does in stock mean for Israeli numbers?
That numbers of Israel are currently receiving codes. If delivery degrades, the country drops from the catalog instead of collecting complaints.
One-time or permanent: which format for an Israeli number?
One-time for a single sign-up code, permanent for an account that will be re-checked. The passport above shows which formats Israel has in stock right now.
Can I run a second account on an Israeli number?
Yes. Register the second account on the +972 line, apart from your personal SIM; each account gets its own number from the dashboard.
Will a business profile accept a +972 number?
Yes. A business profile verifies the same way as a personal one; take the permanent format so re-verifications keep passing for years.
Can I move an existing account to an Israeli number?
Yes. Change the phone in the account settings of the service to the new +972 number, confirm the code from the dashboard, and the account keeps working.
What does an Israeli mobile number look like?
It is +972 followed by a mobile number that starts with 5, grouped as in the sample above. The dashboard shows it in the international form that sign-up fields expect.
Why do businesses want a +972 number for WhatsApp?
In Israel WhatsApp is the default channel for clients and business. A profile on an Israeli number fits into that habit and looks local.
Does Yad2 verify an Israel virtual number?
Yad2 confirms accounts by SMS, and the code is delivered to your dashboard. Keep the account on a permanent line if you post regularly.
Is an Israeli number in stock now?
The passport at the top gives the live answer for both formats. When stock is shown, the Israeli number is issued automatically after payment.
